I had wanted to post the topic- How to sew with the machine as a starter; as I earlier promised in my last sewing post- click here to read; but on a second thought, I deemed it orderly to first write on the labelled parts of a sewing machine. Hmm… it wasn’t quite easy trying to do this, especially when I am not a computer guru. The truth is that it took me several ‘write and delete’ to arrive at these below, but I am happy it turned out fine. The secret? Lol. I will tell you, I used the New Microsoft Office Publisher Document, after so many ‘try and fail’ with other packages and applications. Ms Office Publisher- a big thumbs up for you!
Oh, sorry about the little digression. Now, to the business of the day! Below are labelled pictures of the various parts of a sewing machine. I used butterfly(brand name) sewing machine as our lab specimen. If you have another brand of a sewing machine, there could be little or no variation of the parts. I think it is better to put down a list of the labels, in case it isn’t clear in your browser. Please, scroll down for the list.
The label “NEEDLE'” should read “NEEDLE PLATE”, please.
